Most of you know that I am way too much of a neat freak to expose my girl to bubbles already. I mean really, it's winter. The bubbles would have to be blown inside and get all over the carpet. And no doubt Calli would want to hold the bubbles herself which means eventually the whole bottle would be turned over.
But at grandma's house, she found little bubble containers. (Thank goodness they were empty.) She brought them to me and said in her sweet little voice, "bubbles." I was floored that she even knew what they were, let alone how to say the word. I am thinking she picked it up in nursery.
She loved those bubble containers so much that one was by her side for an entire day and even at night. Yes, it went to bed with her. (See, aren't we glad it was empty?) The next morning, we were laying in bed about to get up when we heard her blowing. She was trying to blow bubbles out of that thing. Too funny, too cute.
I just loved the way she said that word and don't want to forget how it sounded when she said it. I got her and her cousin saying it on camera. Maybe my sister will appreciate this post too. After all, she is a mommy.
Note- Disregard that yet again, I have a video of Calli only wearing a diaper. Anyone know when the terrible twos end? And we aren't even at two yet! She does have clothes, really cute ones in fact, I promise!

You should get the Summer bubble blower for the tub. I also hate bubbles in the house, but we found one of these for Christmas and my boys love it. It suctions to the tub wall and has a buttle Calli can push to turn on the little wheel of bubble blowers and then just fills the tub area with bubbles. Bubbles definitely never hurt during tub time and it wasn't very expensive either. It comes with tearfree bubbles, but we have used regular to refill and it's fine.
We bought ours at ToysRus, but I have also seen them at BabiesRus, Baby Depot, and online at www.onestepahead.com
It's the best thing we have to solve their bubble wants when it's cold outside, since we also that the "spillproof" and they have been banished to outside since they spill, so check this one out. :)
Cute post. I live for this stuff! That is probably obvious based upon my blog. Anyway, whenever you have a cute Callie moment, you should share away. I can never get enough of her.
Okay, if I'm not mistaken, you are offically caught up! That means that your kitchen must be nearing completion. I hope that is so.
Or
Maybe you are putting some pressure on Dan to not let your blog readers down.
