This morning I was awakened at 6 am not by a crying baby, yelling toddler or stirring husband. I was awakened not by an alarm clock or the sun pouring through my bedroom window. Instead I was awakened by my air conditioning unit. It was on, blaring loudly, at six in the morning. For people who keep their thermostat set at 80 degrees, this was astonishing... Already? It was dang hot outside.
The valley heat is on, with forecasts of temperatures in the low 100's over the next few days. It makes me glad that my recovery period should end this week and I can soon jump in the water with my trio like they did over the weekend.
Luke chilled in the water, seeming to enjoy his first swim. Dan chased his poolside basketball around and Calli? She was clever. When Dan made his shot, he proudly and loudly declared, "Money in the bank!" To which Calli responded, "Money in the pig!" Glad to see she is already developing saving habits.
Oh that girl. She's always good for a laugh.

Calli is so cute in this last picture - she is cute all the time!! The baby is growing. Hope you can get in the pool soon. We are sitting on our front porch with a nice breeze watching the fire flies with the kids. I love having a front and back porch - especially with a nice cool breeze.
Sheesh... I've been complaining that we hit the low 80's... oops. You never would have guessed that I'm from Phoenix. Good luck! At least you have the option of the pool - that's definitely a lifesaver. Happy Recovery!

Calli should show Brooklyn some of her swim moves. Brooklyn has a hard time in the pool. I almost can't believe she and Mack are related.
