Eating dirt in Old Town was just an appetizer to what Calli ate in Del Mar. I even caught Luke with a fist full. Luckily, I got it out of his mouth in time before damage was done. Sand, sand, everywhere.
Sand on the face,
a happy face at that.
A sweet face too.
Sand in the smile,
making a beard,
in the hair,
and on the back.
Sand causing one to think, "Please don't touch me."
Some old-fashioned, clean, dirty fun.

Why do kids love to eat sand? Carinn still eats sand and she is almost 4. Isn't that called "pica" or something? Anyway cute pics! I love the beard shot!
