DEAR CALIFORNIA,

I have fallen in love with you ever since we came. The scenery and friends couldn't be better. In fact, I am not sure I could ever leave you now. All because of your hook, line and sinker-- your weather.

But what is going on? Spring should have sprung two months ago and stayed. It has been toying with us ever since. Right now, the ground is wet and I am really cold. And kind of cranky. Digging down deep for motivation.

Can you tell me when I can put my kids' winter clothes away? How soon am I away from swimming? I have a new wardrobe ready to use and a new best friend with three wheels and two child seats ready to roll... We are waiting.

Summer, please come! Fast. I can hardly stand it anymore.

So California, can you make that happen? Oh, and if it be at all possible, not straight to 110 degrees.

Respectfully,
Ashley

(For those of you who don't live in California and think I have no room to complain, I know I don't. But still, we need something to make up for the arm and leg we pay to own a house out here.)

I know what you mean--the other day I finally put away the girls' winter clothes and the next day I wanted to turn on the heater! Whatever illness California weather is suffering from, it keeps passing it on to Vegas weather. All I can say is we left Utah for a reason...
