WE'RE OFF TO SEE WIZARD

Whew. I am glad to be putting the costumes away. Three photo shoots later and I almost have a good shot with both of them together. And I wanted to stretch myself a little and make Calli's costume this year. I needed to get more acquainted with my sewing machine. Obviously, because when I pulled it out, Calli said, "Oh you've got Grandma's?" Guess that's the only person who she's seen use it. So I got it made with a lot of help from a certain engineer I know. I love that they can fix things. That must be why I married him. Okay, one of the reasons. The costume turned out pretty darn cute. Just don't look too closely. Oh and if you want to see Dan's last minute costume, go here and scroll down. I really wanted to be a witch-- good or bad was questionable, but who am I kidding? I could barely get my kids dressed and fed and the treats for the party made before dark. So I just went as me. One of these years I will go all out like I used to.
Happy Belated Halloween!

All smiles after the candy and trick-or-treating

Adorable! They look perfect together! What a great idea! Did Calli win the costume contest again at church. She looks like she may have been a real contender!
Her dress looks awesome, by the way.
