
8) Alternatives. Replacing a treat like ice cream with a healthier option like a light, whipped yogurt seemed to work and was much better for calorie control.
9) Less is Less. Believe it or not, if I went a good while without eating a certain treat, after that while, I really didn't WANT it anymore or hardly even that much of it. It was much easier to pass or just be happy with a single serving. Sugar really does make you think you can never have enough, where as if you eat less, you crave less. (After the first week of torture, of course).

oh we TOTALLY practiced that last principle in college. remember sharing a package of reeses cups to only get half the fat grams?? makes me laugh.
I was thinking I wawnted to do feeling fine again- but with my own criteria- #1- calorie reduction- #2- keep my house clean #3- keep my car clean #4- get up early #4- temple attendance #5- scripture reading- but only 30 minutes. What do you say? Want to join my club?
